Decal adhesive from hell

So, I’m building again! 

I have come across some decal adhesive residue the likes of which Beelzebub himself would be proud of having shat.   

So, I have tried Nail Varnish Remover with no success.

I have emptied a 50 ml bottle of industrial Acetone, with slightly more success, but at a rate that will require several hours and a litre of the fooking stuff if I am to strip the frame clean.

So, RADsters, can you please help? The winning tip will receive a Wank Sock.

I used out of date Boss aftershave 

Gave me a fookin stinking headache though!

A bit of heat to it works well.  Not too hot.  A hair drier will do it.  Good luck

Oil works well as a dissolver of stickeyness - rub cooking oil on and let it soak, this is why WD40/penetration oil (not that type )works.

Finish with Meths or my favourite IPA (no not that type either)

Always found WD40 worked well

Took me 2 days, an insane amount of kitchen towel, white spirit & a wrecked pair of gloves, turned into glue mitts, to get the residue off mine. And that was on a repop frame.

Yeah and I use aftershave for adhesive remover
