Beyond bicycles 1989-1990
« on: December 30, 2018, 05:22 PM »
So........... Back in winter of 1990 I spent a couple of weeks in my mates garage (cuz i day av one) revamping my Falcon Pro freestyler, inspired by a bike I read about in invert magazine issue 12.

The bike was made by Larry Bull. It was black, had pink decals, wishbone rear and a removable bash guard (which I very much liked).
Anywayz....... I finally found more info on beyond bicycles.
I found it very interesting so thought I'd share it.
Here's the link

Ps: I had the music from the beginning of ride on when reading the first bit..

😜🔫 i may look like I'm listening to ya,
        but in my head I'm thinking about bmx 😜🔫

They never made it into production, most of the prototypes broke. They were brazed and the wishbone was too stiff!

Sure I read about Larry and this frame recently ... maybe in Albion?

He deffo said he still had the prototype frame in his loft still  :daumenhoch:
"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

Dylan Thomas
