Spec for ‘84 models as pictured don’t mention the seat clamp being Dia-Compe. Are they DC or copies?

That’s the same as what I had on my 84 Supergoose 3, it was unbranded, but mine was a U.K. model.

Yeah I thought the manufacturer would have been mentioned if it actually was branded. 👍🏼
Another seat clamp question... in this image from part of the spec of my project, the seat clamp is listed as Dia-Compe tech 2 seat post clamp! Is that what is now commonly known as the mx1500 or another entirely? Sorry for my stupidity but I don’t get any results when searching for the spec part listed. Any idea guys??

Weren't they stamped FS and had the square side hole not circular same as DC clamps but they were copies

never heard of a DC seatclamp referred to as a 'Tech 2' only brake levers. It is probably the correct term .

The FS stamped are mongoose seat clamps.
They are a bit thicker than the genuine dia comp mx stamped clamps.

Cheers guys and thanks for the pics. It cool seeing them both together,  I like the slightly beefier look of the goose version. Might slap my polished Sr seatpost clamp on when all parts are sourced.

Yeah, just levers popping up with tech 2 in the search. Might be a typo too.

Yeah I do like the look of the hinged one especially with mx brakes.

Yeah that would be a good match. Just can't find the real deal cheap enough. Going for the Chang Stars I reckon.

The Chang Stars look good. There’s a black pair on eBay for £35 which doesn’t seem too bad.
