You should be able to get a front wheel fairly easy although getting it to match the rear could be tricky. Are the rim and hub stamped? It may be easier to look for the individual parts and then get the wheel built up.

As for the forks, your looking for something fairly specific there and Yes stuff rarely comes up for sale. Until the correct forks turn up, you may want to use a generic set such as Tange, just to get you going.

 :welcome to  :radbmxsmilie: by the way.

Regarding the forks..
Tange does not = generic  :knuppel2:

A set of Tange forks would be an upgrade unless already specified.
Wanted: Shimano Aero frame
Wanted: Tange Axeblade frame

I'll take some pictures later, not in the best condition, rust spots 😢, but due it can be treated! Truly gutted that the forks & front wheel missing, was striped to fit in loft 20 years ago & looks like my dad thrown stuff away when having a tidy up years ago 😫🙈 would love to get original stuff for it but not looking hopeful, so I'm going to get as close to it as possible, so I can use it with my kids. Where is best place to get headset & stem bolt? Stem is M8, all I can see is M10. The headset is 1 ⅛.

I'm not the most knowledgeable on here by a wide mile, but......

 I would hold fire on doing anything about the rust (only a survivor once an all that) if you do, then read the threads on citrc acid.

I would have thought the headset would be 1" not 1 1/8.

Put a wanted ad in the wanted section for any parts you need. Or maybe Alan's bmx. Or the dreaded ebay.

And pics would help ya for more advice off here (we all love piccys).

Hopefully someone else will chip in with some better advice for ya, or correct me if I'm talking💩

Oh and I'd get me self back up that loft for a double looksy👀

Hi. Yes I've double double checked & my dad said he remembers throwing away some rusty bits 😫.

I've measured the area of headset & got this.
40mm = 1 ½
28.65mm = 1 ⅛
117.2mm = 4.6"

So guessing that was size. But maybe 1" for room for play.

Cool project, more so as it was your bike from bitd. Good luck with the restoration - you've come to the right place! :radbmxsmilie:
