I want to change out the grips on my race bike but one of the little hex bolts has rounded off and I can't undo the fooker!

I've read various suggestions online about what to do in this (what seems to be common) situation, varying from using a rubber band, banging a flat-head screwdriver into it, drilling the head, hacksawing it, using a Dremel, buying a bolt extractor, etc, etc. I've already failed with the lacky band, so before I try anything else, have any RADsters had the same problem and if so, what did you do? Thanks in advance!

PS Yes, I will grease and not over-tighten the new bolts when I'm finally able to fit the new grips!
