I know Sam but as i've now started restoring mine i'm looking for all the info i can get mate.

When i got mine it was minus the original Pads and grips, whilst i now know what pads it came with i'm unsure as to what grips should be on it.

Simon ( retrogeezer) he also has a frame set aswell as a complete bike. This topic came up on the search when i was looking for pictures of his said bikes to help in my quest to finish this as it would have come out of the factory.

I've PM'ed Del about them and says he can do them along as i send my original ones to him which won't be a problem. The only problem i can see will be the headtube one.

As soon as i find a colour match to the frame i'll remove mine and get Del on to the job. The only reason i haven't removed them already is the fact that if i can't match the colour i'll have to leave as a survivor. It's a burgundy sort of red. The closest i've come so far is Rover Nightfire red.

From memory rover did 3 versions of nightfire red. Have a look at Toyota's Vermillion red.

Funny enough i did today Dan but it was only a small one and thats who said about the Rover colour. They did tell me of another place in Southampton that was a lot bigger and could probably help me more but it was right over the other side of town and i was running out of time.

yeah i think it's about the confidence in the guy who's going to match the colour,

the guy i use has matched them all, mattdubs ghp, a ripper for radman that had to

match his forks and again the same for fat pete quad :)
