A few S&M builds I recently completed
« on: October 21, 2018, 03:29 PM »
This year I have been trying to complete my 1" S&M collection, and have been slowly chipping away at that. Here are three that I recently completed.

First up is Gogo's old S&M menstrual cycle. I grabbed this off of Ebay built with entirely junk parts, stripped it down and rebuilt it to my own spec. Current parts list is as follows:

Frame: 1994 Menstrual Cycle
Forks: S&M Stupid Forks
Stem: Clamp on Redneck
Headset: Tioga Beartrap II
Bars: S&M Slam Bars (Dancing Man)
Grips: Jive Tentacles
Lever: DC Tech 77
Brakes: Dia Compe AD990
Seat: GT Drop Nose
Seat Post: Generic Micro Adjust
Seat clamp: GT Double clamp
Cranks: GT profile 175mm
Pedals: Peregrine platform
Sprocket: GT Power series 43t
Chain: Izumi
Tyres: GT Freestyle 2.1
Rims: Peregrine Super Pro
Hubs: Peregrine Super Pro

The next bike is a 92 platform Dirt Bike. After seeing Stephens at MK I knew I had to get mine finished up. Full Spec is as follows:

Frame: S&M Platform Dirt Bike
Fork: S&M Ditch Forks
Stem: TNT Inverted
Headset: Tioga Beartrap II
Bars: Bully Freestyle Bars
Grips: Jive
Lever: DC Tech 77
Brakes: ACS Boa front, Shimano U brake rear
Seat: Fusion Kashi
Seat Post: 22mm chrome
Seat clamp: TNT
Cranks: Unstamped Profile 175mm
Pedals: Shimano DX
Sprocket: Peregrine CD
Chain: Izumi
Tyres: Kenda Freestyle
Rims: Peregrine Super Pro
Hubs: G-SPort rear, Peregrine front
Pegs: S&M PEGS rear, Yard Stix front.

The last one to be completed is a 1988 Mad Dog. I had a lot of fun building this one, mixing late old school bits with early mid school. Full spec is as follows:

Frame & Fork: 1988 S&M Mad Dog
Stem: TNT XL
Headset: Tioga Beartrap II
Bars: S&M Slam Bars (Revcore Made)
Grips: AME Tri
Lever: DC Tech 77
Brakes: ACS Boa
Seat: Selle Italia Turbo
Seat Post: 22mm chrome
Seat clamp: TNT
Cranks: Redline Flight 175mm
Pedals: SR Suntour
Sprocket: Redline
Chain: Izumi
Tyres: Yellow label Tioga Comp III
Rims: Araya 7X
Hubs: Revcore
Padset: S&M
Plate: Crit

Excellent stuff, I'd completely forgot about the platform dirtbikes.  :daumenhoch:
I said 'machine, why are we here?'
And it paused and said 'to play video games and drink beer'
