Been wanting to do this bike for ages

picked up a frame off a member on here,over 3 years ago ,it needed a bit of work -a few rusty areas to sort out




been very slowly getting parts for it,knew it would be difficult getting the reaction megabrakes .

frame had a long soak in citric acid to get the rust off ,not perfect but close enough

picked up the decals from Australia ,as Del didn't have them

paired the frame up with a pair of 1inch threadless forks (thanks Jai se-bmxer  )I know that it won't be 100% correct but it will be ridden ,plus I just prefer the threadless system

next up wheels+cranks

lace up the peregrine hubs with araya rims ,not been able to identify the rims on Jamie's bike think the would have either these or peregrine.
added haro multisurface 2 tyres and haro pegs
 

 went with profile cranks and a repo fusion cd as always liked the look of these ,
gt pedals (need to change to haro ones )

will be changing the GT seat to a primo padded one for riding


few issues building :
the top blue gyro cable was too short,so had to use a long g3 cable until I can find a better fit.
the rear BOA -which is a 6mm one went south on me when fitting and all the bearings went all over the garage floor 

bashguard is will used ,undecided to either leave it or restore
