These hubs look fantastic.

Was that "only" dirt and old grease on that rear-hub, or was the chrome actually peeling off?

Bubbling, peeling and completely peeled off in places Andy... did look worse than they actually were tbh. Very pleased with the outcome for sure.

Bubbling, peeling and completely peeled off in places Andy... did look worse than they actually were tbh. Very pleased with the outcome for sure.

I always thought that once the chrome is peeling, re-chroming would be the only way to save it in most cases. But that obviously depends on the metal underneath the chrome finish.
A while ago I tried to polish a dull spot on a side wall of my 7x's that had a tiny of peeling too, but it didn't work that well.
