85 Haro FST
« on: March 24, 2020, 02:23 PM »
I am not a builder of freestyle bikes, I think I have built over the years about 50 race bikes but only 1 freestyle bike (a ProLite Craig Campbell, so not a bad one to build) and that was a long, long time ago.

So I thought it was time I did another, so picked up this Haro FST frame and forks from a rad member and built it using parts I already had and looking at magazines and pictures to see what others were doing.

I really like how it turned out, it definitely brings a smile to my face when I look at it.

Parts:

Frame: Haro FST
Forks: Haro
Headset: Tioga Beartrap
Stem: Anlun
Bars: Haro
Grips: Am'e
Brake Calipers: Dia-Compe 883
Brake Levers: Dia-Compe Tech 6
Brake Cable: Dia-Compe
Cranks: One Piece
Spider: Haro
Chainring: Haro Uni-Directional
Pedals: Victor DX
Rims: Spencer 36h
Hubs: Suzue Sealed
Tyres: Cheng Shin Snakebelly
Seat Clamp: Dia-Compe Hinged
Seat Post: Haro
Seat: Viscount Dominator

You don't see many chrome ones  :smitten:

You say not a Freestyle fan. Was the FST a cross between BMX styles? ::)

Freestyle - Street - Track

Hmm, so what was the FSX model?  :-\

Freestyle - Track - X (please fill in)

Very nice mate, we are polar opposites (I never built a race bike) but I would be chuffed if I owned that 8)
