CAN'T believe it, I am totally gutted. But have had a call from the council this morning to say our container was broken into last night and cleared out.

We have lost the Air ram, compressor lights, control box the bloody lot!!!!!

I mean what good is stuff to a theif anyway.

We will still be at the track on Sat afternoon for what was supposed to be our 1st winter series meeting and may run some 1 foot start races old school style

We have made contact with the BCF & the council (as it there container) to see about insurance but no idea yet whether we are covered.

All in all it's well over 2 grands worth of stuff, so defo a big set back for a young club just coming to the end of it's 1st year.

Also now found the start gate was vandalised so the council have closed the track until the gate can be repaired 9made safe), so will very much have to play it by as to whether we can use the track on Sat.

We will not be beaten by this setback and, subject to the Council's agreement, will run Saturday using one-pedal starts. The meeting is for FUN and that's what we'll do, have FUN!! And show these thieving toerags that we will rise above them. Humps

all the gate gear gone and the gate vandalised??? sounds like someone doesnt want you to be able to run meetings there to me. any locals been complaining about the noise and all the people about racedays??
hope the council were insured and you can get back up and running asap.
