The Great Big RAD Road Trip....
« on: May 19, 2018, 10:25 PM »
If you know Andy ( Mr DTTDB ) and I then you know we love all things RAD and all things BMX ... today was one of those magical days!
Starting at 8.00am we started the long journey down to Dagenham to see RAD legend and master of powdercoating Daniel Purcell aka Super Bike Dan
We got to meet the great man and see where the magic happens...

Then it was on to a pilgrimage to the Legendary Rom Skatepark

Next up was a visit to Stevenage to Custom Riders BMX Shop to meet Legend Mason Smith .. that’s his original Gen 1 Hanging up!
Great guy and nice to chat old school!

Finally we couldn’t do a BMX trip without a pre-MK18 trip to Milton Keynes and the spiritual Home of RAD ...

It’s looking great lads!

Amazing day guys! Right up my street is that  :daumenhoch:

Guessing you didn't see any RGD rotors lying around then?  :LolLolLolLol:
What's the crack with the front brake on the haro? Looks like some sort of mod on the cable routing side  :chin:
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

just seen the Facebook pic. I NEED one of of those rotors!!!!!!!!
Time to message Mr Mason methinks. Pic looks decidedly like a box of bits in the back of a certain bmx shop!

Great road trip Ant, although being Stevenage born and bred I can't let you get away with Custom Riders being there.  They're in Letchworth  :daumenhoch:

That Burner has clocked up some mileage now though  ;D  :daumenhoch:
