Yep, strip it down, dunk it in a paddling pool full of oxy-whatsitsface acid (look it up in the tech & restoration section) then put it back together with a load of grease. Ride it and if you like it, slowly put a few better parts on it like a stem and brakes. Looks like a fairly generic 90's frame but for a fiver that's a great project :coolsmiley:
Still limping......

Hell yea...worth a fiver all day! As said before it is a 90's frame, probably early 90's judging by the stem , you would probably see badged as other things too. worth tidying up and replacing a few parts. The design of the frame still looks old school and with a few better parts it could look great  :daumenhoch:

Thank you so much for your feed back, I'm going to try and strip it asap, I have been told that it could be a 1993 so bang on the money with the early 90's, which brakes do you recommend ?
I'm going to keep the handle bars and pegs and crank and maybe the seat but steam, wheels and brakes will be going.

Ill look on the restore section for all the stripping details, I'm pretty sure I can get the acid from work.

I'll probably just get all the bits from the dump lol
I brought a few bikes from there in the past mainly mountain bikes just for selling on, but now I'm looking to do bmx for a hobby.
Ill photo what I do and post in the restore area of the forum
Cheers guys :daumenhoch:

That's not the same bike mate, look at the diameters of the diagonal downtube and yours has a bend in it to clear the front brake when doing barspins.....  :coolsmiley:
