That is a shocker! They have been getting poorer and poorer over the years but that takes the crown.

I know Alan is a friend of the site and has supported events for a long time, but that is sh1thouse and would've been ripped to pieces by most people if it had been a random. It feels like he has a few framesets knocking about and is dropping whatever he has to hand in the shop on them to shift 'em. He'd do better just listing the frames for a sensible price and forgetting the bodge builds.

When I was born, the world was a far simpler place.
It was all just cops and robbers.
And BMX.

If only that were true :-\  I honestly believe these 'muppets' do want the full amount they're asking. 10% off a grand for a pair of Shimano DX pedals is still £900 even if they were willing to do a deal outside of ebay.
I made an offer for a chainring to an ebay seller that wanted £32 or 'best offer' and got an automatic knock-back at £25 then £26 then £27! I gave up after that. Piss takers the lot of 'em  ;D
It's not just the prices that we're drawing attention to here but the 'neck' of these sellers. It's both incredulous and hilarious at the same time.

Unfortunately it’s not exclusive to eBay either, some stuff way overpriced on the various Facebook pages including the RAD one and some stuff on here.

Up until today it was in our facebook-group as well, but added for £450,- . But he seemed to be quite resistant to advice too. Maybe he deleted his add himself after an x-amount of people had their fun about this post.

All I know is - he found a box of gold-anno stuff and added the items either seperately or as sets. It all seemed to be pricey, but the caliper set was way over the top. After 100 or more comments, he stated "someone will buy them for that price, I'm not in a hurry" - ...this sounds to me like "one day a poor devil will get out of bed".
Don't know him, but personally I'm not a fan of these kinds of statements.
