how do they come up if you powder coat em? anybody done this or they all just polished? pics if you have done it would be appreciated. :daumenhoch:

darren on the site had a set painted white pearl but left the side of rims polished, looked really nice 8)

I suggest you annodize, not sure how powder coating would work with your brake shoes

I've had some absolutely battered araya aero's powdered white and they came out beautifully. Just sanded back the brake block crap and keyed the surface and the powder filled in all the surface scratches and look mint now. Cost me £6 to get done. Yet to be built, looking for an orphan rear suzue hub to get powdered too.......I'll try and get chance to take a photo tomorrow.

No problem with getting rims powder coated.  I have had a few sets done now, braking is not affected.

the ones on my quad were powdered gold and looked fine.




as you can see it does wear after a while, but i did ride this bike at least once a week.
