What should I pay for a de-chrome?

Looking to get a f+f set de-chromed? not had it done before so had a quote from a firm local to me of £65+ vat...... I think this sounds alot so what should I realistically be looking to pay? I know alot of you have had this done so your input is appreciated,cheers Carl  :daumenhoch:

About 35 quid for a f&f at the place up our way... although i ain't had one done for coupla yrs. ???

I paid £50 about 4 years ago inc VAT.

tbh I've heared of people having had it done for £20 but being realistic I'm thinking about £30-£35 especially as no postage is involved,I think £65 + vat is a bit rich?

I'm presuming it's just a case of dipping it in the tank and leaving it a while so not exactly labour intensive like preparing a frame for being chromed.

I would have said cheaper than 65 quid to do

There's not many people willing to do it these days... I couldn't find anybody local to de chrome my wilson so got it blasted in the end .

Too much environmental bollox getting in the way these days.

I taken a few bits to be chromed at this place with no issues.
