Anyone done it or ordered as set made?
Thinking of having a bash but torn between a tubular welded set or a more tradition aluminium billet job.
Also welcome your thoughts on spindles, square taper, splined etc

A set of Profile 1st gen box cranks would be cool!

Great! Keep. Coming lads. I do like the idea of box cranks or Ali ones that look boxy. Got some hex tubing in work that keeps whispering in my ear

Right . I've narrowed it down to a few ideas. Welcome you thoughts lads
1. Skyway TA stylee aero crank arms in 4130 with welded ends
2. True oval British T45 tubing crank arms with welded ends
3. TT Racing / jam buttie inspired Aluminium crank arms. (These would involve more work by myself)
what do we rec?

I like all of the options but if you do a TA style areo tubing set, what about having a car fin style back of spindle end like this shitey microsoft word mockup:

If there is the room, you could stamp a logo in to it like the pointy bit at the back of a GT Performer

If I did go the aero route the pedal and axle spindle holes would be set in rather than welded on the end. Much stronger imo
