Busy build year
« on: January 28, 2018, 05:50 PM »
I thought I would put this up to show although I may not have posted here for a while the bmx bug is still very much alive and consuming me and my spare time, I currently have four builds on the go 1st is a 1983 skyway ta which will be built red white and blue as the parts I have for it sort of came about that way. The second is a 1984 ta which I am building as a replica of my mate Jamie Morley's bike when he rode for skyway bitd I have a platform which the awesome Derek spicer is looking after for me. The third is another quadangle freestyler (you know I can't help myself when it comes to these looks a bit of a mishmash at the mo but I have a plan for this one. Lastly I have a 1981 cw zl pro with c w bars profile cranks and an early tuff neck stem I have my work cut out for me in the next couple of month's

I am so pleased to hear that other peeps have multiple builds on the go! I may have finished one this week but there are three in the garage; two of which have live threads. Thanks for posting this!!

All 4 builds look very promising with good foundations

Looking good mate:

Sold nearly everything off last year but find myself with 5 builds on the go at the moment ...

It's doing my head in but I'll get there in the end .. Possibly...  :daumenhoch:

Finding parts is getting harder & Im losing the will to live on 2 of them as I'm having some parts fabricated & the guy is a fooking waste of space.

Been waiting nearly 3 months for my parts & still nothing & i need them before sending them & a load of stuff off for chrome .... Just frustrating when you have money to spend with people & yet they they are so lackadaisical about their work... Amazing he can make a living acting like this to be fair... fistblump
