Here's my latest project raleigh rapier there's only 14ish known off, I bought this about 2 years ago and I'm finally getting there over the next few weeks I'll post up my pics of my progress hope you like

It's basically the same frame and forks the only differences are this has cables guides, the head badge is riveted on and not a decal, plus the dates on the Australian version are earlier than the UK pro

There are more frame sets about than forks! I've seen those dragon forks on there own  go for alot of wonga!  :shocked:

They did three frames for Raleigh in the UK. The pro burner, the mk2 cromo burner and some of the team aero pro were also koizumi frames.

Well it's had it's bath but the next day the chrome had lifted in places so I bet you can guess I wasn't to happy, so now I've taken it to Allenchrome near York to let them do there magic 🤞

Frame is gonna between £200-£300, forks £80 and the bars £80

Yeah my mate takes all his stuff there and he's very anal he won't go anywhere else, I did a lot of research first before hand, I had a really good chat with them and they understand how important stamps and over polished welds etc

Thats a lot to pay for a re chrome but I've seen some of there work they are one of the best out there and I dare say this will be a keeper so worth doing  :daumenhoch: cant wait to see it done  :) whats there turn around time fella?

They said it will be 8-10 weeks, I wasn't really bothered about the cost all I want is it done right and a good job  ;)
