So I’ve been having a play around with blue and white bits and different combos etc
Not really decided on all of it yet but it’s deffo getting white tuffs , white seat and white grips ,

Ok, if it were mine and I was definitely going to use a white seat, grips and Tuffs, then I'd be inclined to go white with all parts, brakes, stem, clamp, tyres, pedals and chainring, only use blue on the powder and decals.

But that's just my opinion.

mainly because I’d like to use 880’s for a change and I happen to have a nos Anno blue set 😂

Cheers lads , I’m still liking white bits but with blue calipers , I think when I start building it I’ll try the different bits out , once the wheels and tyres are on ,

No just this one mate , I had 2 last year both were poor condition had them both stripped and repaired and this one turned out to be the better frame so I kept this one and sold the other.

Time for a little update , I bought these lovely coaster tuffs from Brett last year, they were always bought with this build in mind .
As you can see they are in dire need of a good clean up and a good bit of sunbathing smothered in peroxide .
First step today was to strip all the axles and hubs out and give the wheels an initial clean, they had some round sticky marks at the base of each spoke which came off easy with a bit of acetone.
I then gave em a spray over with some degreaser and got a toothbrush to scrub in behind the hubs etc.
The next step will be to stanley blade round the rims to remove the brake rub and give em a proper scrub with some jif before running em through the dishwasher a couple of times . Hopefully that’ll get them good enough to peroxide as long as we get some sun that is 👍🏼
