Matt , check you PM's   :daumenhoch:

Because of work and BOTM it's hard work with all the different photos people use setting it up ... So i took the plunge and paid for Photobucket .

check the welcome board for a guide on how to upload pics direct ;) but the short answer to resizing photos with your phone is simply to do a screenshot of them (the resulting screenshot will be smaller than the OG pic if you have a phone with a fancy camera full of megapixels)

Am loving that Supergoose, and the baby blue paintwork on the Hawk is scorching! Tis gonna be another tight BOTM! :D

So a month later than planned, I'll throw my hat in the ring with my ’84 Redline 500a Series 3. Inspired by the third or fourth-hand version that I had bitd, this is also a bit of a mongrel with mainly survivor parts that I borrowed from other bikes or had been saving for other builds. I’ve always loved the Series 3 decals but it's the og shop decal on the seat tube that steals the show, since it's from Stu Thomsen’s Family Bicycle Center in Riverside, California. So although this may not be a Stu Thomsen Redline, at least I can say that it came from his shop! :daumenhoch:

Spec

1984 Redline 500a Series Three frame and forks (full cro-moly, made by Giant and supplied by Stu Thomsen’s Family Bicycle Center);
Powerlite bars (VDC, first generation);
A’me grips;
SR MS-423 stem;
Dia-Compe 890 brake caliper;
Dia-Compe Tech 3 brake lever with cover;
Generic rear brake cable;
Weinmann brake pads;
Excaliber seat post clamp;
No-name cro-mo seat post;
Kashimax MX seat;
Araya rims (20 x 1.75);
Suzue sealed hubs;
Cheng Shin (20 x 1.75) tyres with Kenda tubes;
Shimano DX pedals;
Takagi 175mm opc;
Tioga BB;
Takagi chainwheel (43t);
Tuff neck power disc;
Suntour freewheel (16t);
KMC chain;
Dropout savers;
California Lite padset;
J2 number plate.

Thanks for looking!

Not at all mate, you’ve got to be in it to win it, plus the amount of effort you put into yours is reflected in the result - an amazing transformation and definitely a worthy contender! :daumenhoch:
