Hi All

Got an 85 Performer just need advice on decals before ordering from Del should they have chrome background or clear the ones on it at moment are a bit of a mess so unsure if there the OG ones they have chrome background

It's chrome, it should have chrome backed decals.
If you use clear any finger prints on the sticky backing will be seen for evermore.
If you have the 4130 under the GT stamp on the bologna cut then you can use GT Pro Performer decals.
If you do then is it US made or Jap made?
Jap made frames had different Pro Performer decals. The print of Pro is in more of a bold font.

Have seen survivor frames with clear decals on
Guess sometimes they used what they had like all other manufacturers

I also like it when people ask me to measure where the decals should go on the down tube, like a poorly paid worker in a factory in Japan gave a fook  :LolLolLolLol:

Yep have seen some right shockers with og decals  :crazy2:

That's if you want authenticity but I prefer the US made frame decals myself

I see what you mean the pro on the US ones looks much better
I’m getting some from someone on here hope there the ones now 😳
