[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] 1977 Redline Proline non gusset.

Redline Proline frame and forks, only available in white at the time.
Decals by Delcals.
Proline bars and stem.
Oury grips.
Weinmann 20 x 2.125 rims with Shimano MX hubs and Cycle Pro 12g spokes NOS
LHR tyres 20 x 2.125 NOS
Ashtabula 7.5" crank NOS
Addicks 52T swiss cheese chainring and spider
HTI pedals NOS
D.I.D chain NOS
Cinelli Unicantor saddle NOS
Red fluted seatpost NOS
Cook Bros type seat clamp.
Pad set repop.

This is 1 of 50 of the first pro sized frames ever made in BMX with a 19.5" top tube and 5" head tube.
Number 8 of 11 known at the moment.
After realising the first Prolines in 1977 had a tendency to crack at the headtube, Redline went on to add the small triangular gussets we now know.

Seat and stem were nos before this build as were the tyres but will change to used as and when

'83 SE Racing Quadangle

I've been quietly looking for one of these for the last couple of years but only if in dark blue and original finish,be it NOS or excellent survivor condition. So when an N.O.S. frame, fork, bars & seat package came up in the spring of this year I went for it.
Finding the parts (all NOS except for the hubs and headset) to do it justice wasn't as difficult as I imagined either.

Surely this has got to be one of the toughest build of months.

I'd be more than happy to have any one of these bikes in my garage

Could still do with some more entries, don't be shy - get em in!
In case you're secretly holding out for November, don't bother - it's bound to be just as tough as this month :teef:

The quality in general as well as the effords going into the builds is at a top level. Can't remember any month that wasn't tough.

Thank god for that! Nothing worse than seeing lovely honest bikes and parts polished to death. Lovely build Graham.  :daumenhoch:
