peregrine HP 48s rechrome
« on: August 15, 2017, 10:27 AM »
Hi All,

Has anyone had a set of peregrine HP 48s rims and hubs re-chromed I was advised that these cannot be done as they are alloy and the chrome would not stick and start to pit quickly is this the case

Cheers Scott

It might be a pain in the arse but if it wasn't possible to put chrome on alloy then there wouldn't be any parts to re-chrome in the first place  ???

My Thoughts exactly . But I think he was just being honest that he didn't want to do them in case they turned out shit whereas  some would take the cash regardless of the finish bit gutted it would have been nice to have them all shiny and new
