V Brake best option?

Got a Midish GT frame with rear lugs on the upper frame,it had half a V brake caliper fitted,whats the best option brake set up for this frame please,I've only ever had one bmx fitted with such a brake which was fitted with an odyssey A brake I think? so any advice greatfully recieved and where I can purchase one thx  :daumenhoch:
