Hello dear

Not sure on BB tbh as I don't have it yet, hoping to get up to see Ed & the Suspects at Trm1 on the 27th  ;)
Got brakes sorted already & weighing up options on wheels - it's always good to have options though so feel free to bung over some pics/prices if you can be arsed  :daumenhoch:

That sounds very reasonable  ;) eBay?
Feel free to give me a shout if you stumble across anything similar and don't need them yourself (chrome or silver ideally)

I have a horrible feeling a lot of this stuff is on Facebook

Little bit more progress today, couple more things sorted to pick up or wait for  :D

Tonight's quest is to see what you think about bars, looking for 2000+ year-wise in chrome...
Also tanwall tyres, anything worth looking for aside from v monsters?

Gonna have a thank you list like an Oscar speech at this rate, can't thank you guys enough for the help & advice I've been getting

Thanks Gaz but I'm sorted for rims & hubs now  fistblump

Here's how it's looking currently

Pashley DarkCyde frame with FSA headset
DC brake, DK clamp, BB, ODI longnecks and Sun RhinoLyte 48H rims coming from Ed
Hutchman Dave's come up with a Primo Casket stem and maybe a Primo lever (needs to be a lefty)/clamp, FBM chainwheel
Munny Mark's dug out some silver Haro Megahubs
chrome Landing Gear fork on its way from JT Smooth

Everything else still to sort, on the look out for
used but decent Powerbites,
silver platform pedals,
chrome 2pc bars
Tanwall tyres (suitable for ramps)
Black seat - something plain ideally
Micro adjust post
Spokes
Freewheel/chain (won't know gearing etc yet until I know how many cogs I've got up front)

Not bad going considering I don't pick up the frame until the 27th  :daumenhoch:

Bloody vulture, not even seen a pic of it yet  :LolLolLolLol:

If for any reason I didn't use it, it would go back to Dave though - seeing as he offered it to me FOC along with the other bits

I'll have a rummage John but there's a brand new 14T Dicta freewheel left in my brother's stash if you need it. Might have pedals (let me know what size you need) and a few chains (black or silver let me know)

Might have a saddle as well so will look.
Still limping......

Thanks Jaymz/Spen  :daumenhoch:

I'm hoping to find some sort of 3pc crank, keep searching but not finding much at the mo
Seeing as it's a decent spec frame though I don't really want to chuck a OPC on it anyway (plus the midschool  :police: would probably string me up  :teef: )

Once I know details of Dave's sprocket I'll have an idea of gearing ;)

a set of nice Primo cranks would look good but if you're keeping it to a tight budget then something generic like these should do the trick?

looks like I have crank sorted too, thanks to Dave
he dug out a profile crank that has a bit of 'patina' but otherwise perfectly functional - with a bit of a refinish they should be bob on :teef:

today's challenge is going to be sorting hubs (again)
I did have some lined up, but didn't know the size of the front sprocket until last night. Since I really love the sprocket this means I need a flip flop hub to run a smaller freewheel.

Found this on fleabay but not sure of the age of it, googling hasn't helped
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Primo-Pro-404-bmx-48h-flip-flop-sealed-bearing-NOS-rear-hub-New/252932861615
Also will need to find a front to match! Or face mismatched hubs (unless I can strip a black rear) and maybe having to buy 2 sets of spokes

another option
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sun-Ringle-flip-flop-rear-hub-14mm-BMX-mid-school-Street-Dirt-Park/132142487183?_trksid=p2385738.c100677.m4598&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908110712%26meid%3Dd6164b6f196a4e55b3fee121770bf0aa%26pid%3D100677%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D11%26sd%3D262996367218

there was a demolition one listed last night that looked decent as well but that's gone now ::)

If you're after Primo super tenderizer pedals, they've just released them again & they look exactly like they used to!
Do you grovel to your master? Do you beg like a dog?
