did anybody here ever go to her shop in Yeadon, it closed down just as I moved to the area in 1985 her and james renton were the main two bmx super stars, she ran her shop and james's dad ran the track/club (the dambusters-bmx club)

I bought this from Ultra BMX back in the day.  I'm from Essex and down here it was £399 and Ultra BMX had it for £320.  My dad was working for a few days in Harrogate so said come up on the train and he took me there to buy it after saving for two and a half years. Still with the Ultra BMX Sticker :-)

Yep that's an Ultra Performer alright, they used to take the decals off and put race decals on instead

I think she mentioned on Facebook that that was how they got delivered to her.  I remember being a little disappointed at not having the World Tour decals but liked them in the end.

cool old gt with local history and a R.A.D sticker on it as well, the shop shut down the same summer I moved to area! but I do remember the shop sign and it being empty, the track was still being raced on a sunday for at least a couple more years
