Almost ready to get em out of hibernation
« on: March 19, 2017, 07:04 AM »
I've just realised I haven't seen my bikes since the 30th of August 😱
For me , MK seems to be the end of the BMX season , not intentionally but just seems to happen that way .
I'm not a fan of winter at all ,the dark nights and short days suck .
But Spring is in the air ,nights are drawing out and it's getting warmer .
The ride outs will soon start kicking in and BMX will be back .
I've got 3 bikes to build 2 Craig Campbell's and a Badlander so hopefully the spring and summer will see my mojo return .
Anybody else ready to wake from there slumber ? 👍🏼

A very lovely collection mate!   :smitten:

I'm not a fan of the winter time either. My bike needs a good cleaning again and probably a little touch up paint here and there. Initially I wanted to do all this during the winter, but I didn't.
Pictures and thread will follow soon.

Any decisions made yet on the finish(es) of the f&f's ?

The CC's were both chrome originally , but in very bad nick !
So they've been stripped and are getting repaired and probably painted rather than a re chrome ,
I'm not a massive chrome fan to be honest
Look forward to seeing yours Andy 👍🏼

I think too that a nice colour would suit these kind of frames much better than chrome.  :daumenhoch:

I've had These 2 have been hibernating all winter as well  soon be out and about again  if it ever stops raining

Thought I'd add a pic of them in Mallorca last year as I'm in Manchester I've forgot what the sunshine looks like

Same for me Mike......

Although MK is all booked, in the Winter months I struggle, due to the rugby......however I was up in the loft last night having a tidy, and started planning my next build
