Thanks lads! ...then I need to look for A'ME Rounds with a flat end or rather one flange?
Quote from: Andyboy77 on March 06, 2017, 09:39 PMThanks lads! ...then I need to look for A'ME Rounds with a flat end or rather one flange?just bubble font rounds. or get the new ones if you are not bothered about the writing
Bubble font describes the font of the word And on the grips. Nowt to do with the pattern
Many Thanks Andy! The thin A'ME logo is new to me. I only know/knew the one that's at the (older) bubble font grips. Repops have the old bubble font, but two times - at either half of the flange, is that right?

I dont know why some have 1 logo, and others have 2 (the double) ones. The bubble font ones (single or double logo) are all 80's. I don't know if the single logo ones were earlier/later than the double logo ones, or if they were made around the same time
Ame advert august 81 lower case bubble Tri

I never knew that they started out with the lower case font, then moved onto the bubble font So the font timeline will be approx:Early 80's - lower case fontMid 80's-early 90's - upper case 'bubble font'Mid 90's to current - upper case modern angular font
Sure lower case bubble font was late 70's to early 80's.
Is there any way to tell between modern A'me Tri (or Round) repops and the ones made late 90s / early 2000s ?
