I love these old adverts, they have a feel good factor, and I remember drooling over the bikes and parts, then working out how many weeks of my paper round and odd job money I need to save to purchase a part.😀

One photo I didn't take. Demo-ing inside Manchester's Arndale shopping centre with Winston Jones & Mike Pardon. 1985. M/cr City Council had to take out a ?1m insurance policy before the Arndale would let us ride.
