What a fantastic find! These are now very rare. Not worth a lot, as low end bikes with limited appeal (i paid £31 for mine about 6 years ago). Although there will be more that will surface, i believe there are less than 10 of these documented as being left in existance. I've seen a few white ones, and I know of 3 original blue ones (including yours). Torker Mick on here has one with ogk mag wheels, there was another one in northern ireland, and yours. Mine was orginally white with wire spoked wheels, but i had it painted blue as a replica/tribute to the one a mate of mine had back in the day. His also had wire wheels. I've also seen a red one, but the frame gusset was different. There seem to be 2 versions of these bikes, but with variations between them. 1st version (i think), had mag wheels (ogk's i think), but some had spoked wheels, v handle bars and bladed dropout forks, and was blue/gold. The 2nd version (although i'm not sure which version came first) came in blue/gold and white/silver/red, and had spoked wheels, straight crossbar handle bars and straight thick dropouts to the forks. The pedals, grips and seat varied between versions 1 and 2.  These were defo around in 83-84, but i'm not sure if they were around in 82. I don't know anything about the red version with different gusset. These bikes have a smaller sized head tube, and take a road bike headset (30mm i think), rather than a standard bmx headset. Some people have said these were catalogue bikes, and that maybe correct, but i'm sure Torker Mick said he remembers them for sale in his local bike shop. Here's some pics of mine when i bought it, and restored. I re-did the artwork for the pads and decals and got repro sets made up. A great find you have there- i can't wait to see it at MK  :daumenhoch:

Oooh  interesting! Torker Mick lives in Essex - not sure where he lived growing up, but he's from that general area. I don't know what happened to his original bike or exactly where he got it from as a kid back inthe day, but it could be the same shop and possibly the same bike! His defo had ogk mag wheels, just like yours! The one Mick has now was bought from a VW show a few years ago

This is a photo of the one that was in northern ireland. It was for sale on ebay about 5/6 years ago, but the seller wouldn't post it over here. I think a radster who either lives in northern ireland or who had a friend there bought it

Apart from the spoke wheels and whether the bars are vee or straight it looks the same, maybe they were sold with either wheel being avail at that time .

I agree. I reckon there were all sorts of variations, be it grips, seat, bars, wheels, forks etc. Cool bikes - i love mine and it gets ridden on the rad rides on rotation with my other bikes

Here's the serial on mine. I don't know how to read the serials, but i always thought mine was a slightly later frame. Not sure if the higher number on mine confirms that, but it would make sense

Interesting the number layouts a bit different, i did search the net last night but i couldn't find much out on the serial numbers, some on the pug fb page said mine was 85.
