Hi all.
My name is Andrew and I reside in West Sussex England. Born and raised in Streatham/Brixton, went off to the USA in 2000 and came back in '08. I now live just outside of Bognor Regis with my wife.
Name denotes my favourite era. Well, not the era, the bikes and parts. I'm no spring chicken @ 43 but I just preferred the bikes of the mid to late 90s. I was a small child, so a BMX was really big on me. When I got older thought I grew upwards and outwards pretty fast, and I am now 5'10. Obviously this makes it far easier for me to throw around a bike, so I had the most fun riding during my 20s.
Complete and total SE nut, but probably my favourite bike ever was my Schwinn Powermatic that I painted metallic bubblegum pink with all gold parts. It kinda looked like the Faris flatland frame.
Any way, am currently waist deep in a project so I will post that now.
Any riders down my way around my age? I am not looking to do anything stupid any more (been there done that) just want to get fit. Currently far too heavy for my frame @ around 17-18 stone thanks to meds I have to take. However, I am sure I could be a lot fitter..
