Tuff hubb question
« on: January 20, 2017, 06:48 PM »
Hi guys I have noticed a lot of old type tuffs with missing hubs.
Has anyone used any other large flange hubs and screwed into place? or is there anything else you can do?

There are kits out there to replace repair the hubs bud.
They was a thread on the museum , a guy had loads of abused tuffs some hand painted.
He machined long bolts which looked like rivets to fit the flanges .
Great thread ..
When  fully refurbished they all looked good as new

Any chance of a link to that please Andy as I can't seem to find it?
I'm in the same position and was even wondering if new hubs could be made up with proper bearings rather than cones?

So apart  from Skyway hubs nobody has put any other hubs in tuff? Would have thought the Kool caps people could have made proper hubs.

It's a shame Skyway don't sell these hubs separately as I would happily run them on a rider
