Midschooljon would probably know about the textured BFR.

Will keep an eye out. Silver seems to be hard to find in rears for some reason  ???

Having plenty of luck at the mo  :daumenhoch:

Found this grind disc too, weighed a ton and was a bit pricey so it was left on its hook

Generally paying the 80s/90s sticker price on the item, usually rounded down and discounted for buying lots  :daumenhoch:

Yeah, love it how this stuff keeps falling into your lap. Just goes to show that a bit a grafting can still produce the goods!

A longer than expected jaunt up the m6 saw us in an old motoring shop with a healthy smattering of old school bits. Nothing super exotic but the thrill of unearthing bits was just as strong.
Could have gone daft in there but just picked up a few bits that I will likely use on builds  :daumenhoch:

To be frank the trip up the M6 was a ballache after a massive fire the day before. Our kid came up with another bit of computer wizardry and we were playing Celica selfies with the road traffic camera networks

Thats us, bottom right with our arms out of the window and sunroof :LolLolLolLol:

Thursday saw the plucky pair heading to pastures new yet familiar, checking out childhood holiday parts of the world.
Pickings looked thin on the ground until the last shop turned out to be ALOT better than expected. A root around in rafters and behind doors turned up this little lot  :daumenhoch:

All totally nos apart from the front simplex which has seen little use but been kept in unfavourable conditions. The Araya aero with suntour hub really made my day.
The lot was an absolute steal  :D

Can be arranged mate. Spend alot of time looking at Oxford brand header cards  :LolLolLolLol:  but the thrill of the unknown as you step through the shop door is quite something  :daumenhoch:

A phone call a few days after coming down from MK cheered me up no end and saw the plucky pair off to the home of the Jam Buttie to collect the remainder of the old stock that had been unearthed during the shop move  :daumenhoch:

Well.... it seemed daft not to swing by a few old bike shops on the way and although pickings were slim we did pick up some zeronine stylee race plates and numbers  :)

Anyone recognise the plates? seen those numbers before but cant quite pin em down
