From what I remember Metro's came in Chrome, Black, Candy bright blue, Candy deep blue, and Candy Purple.Hornets came in Chrome, Black, Metallic blue, and Metallic red.

The easiest way to spot the difference is the BB shell and head tube. Metro's were american made and the head BB's and Head tubes had wider rounded "steps" in them. Hornets have short sharp steps. The next give away is the quality of welding. Because Hornets were made in Taiwan the welds are not as good as the Metro's were. Finally the geometry is different but the other give aways are so clear you normally never need to resort to comparing seat angles, chain stay shape, and top tube lengths.
