Ok, can't believe im suggesting this
Since MK and the Rad rag I've been knocking round the idea of a really nice coffee table hardback book of bmx.
I know there are a couple out there, Doms fine efforts spring to mind, but this would be totally different!
80s bmx told from the hundreds of us who ate, slept and wore it. Stories of first bikes, seeing bmx legends at shows, crashes, mates who has other bikes, saving paper round money, swapping parts, race days, stunt evenings after school, all the day to day untold stories which were the fabric of our bmx childhood complete with all our old pics, paper clippings, posters etc

...could begin with a double-page semi-bird's eye view of an MK full group shot as a backdrop of a chapters page
...now all we need is the content(-cept) of the chapters

In theory there should be enough radsters who can contribute to make this happen, especially when I think of some of the anecdotes I've read on here over the years. Really want to avoid going the Facebook route if I can. Love it or loathe it, there are enough coonts on there to pull any idea down

You've got enough pictures and stories for a whole chapter of your own Paul!

Phil Hough has loads of old photos - albums full. I'd gladly scan them if needed. I think my scanner can do 2000dpi
