Dia Compe QR
« on: December 06, 2016, 05:30 PM »
Probably covered somewhere but my search failed to turn anything up.

Next project is nearly in the bag, although always looking for a Shimano or Kuwi f&f, hence I am revisiting little restoration side lines that will hopefully make it onto the new build.

Dia Compe QR replacement. Anyone have experience of doing this? Press needed? Is the rivet soft enough for a concave punch and hammer? Thanks in advance.

There should be various threads on this, but to save you the trouble of searching the man you need to ask is Animal (Steve) he's done loads & should be able to advise on what's what ;)
