Back by popular demand ... a Private Lock in at Terminal 1 Skatepark in Melton Mowbray on Saturday 17th December for anyone who wants to ride.

£10 for a 9pm to midnight session ... I'll be there from 8.30pm.

Got 6 seats and a load of room for bikes in the transit bus thing we are using for the time we are home so happy to take that instead of having to turn up with ghd and Vidal Sassoon as sponsors .

Hurting but smiling after the normal banter and abuse from the usual suspects..... even that Auzzie bloke showed up! Top laughs all round indeed, especially at Jim's multi-coloured ebay purchase

Did my usual grooming of the newbies - poor Dave got bullied into re-building his bike correctly and at one point I might have pushed him down the start ramp to get him going I think

painfull feet reduced my usual constant riding style but it was great to see 16 people out

... and a couple of new guys! think it was Dave? and his mate.

Had a great night last night, big thanks to Spen and Ed for the grooming, gentle encouragement and new bike! It has been 25 years but felt like I'd never ridden a BMX before! Can't wait for next time so I can impress you all with my skills again. Dave
