Haro Group 1 dustcaps
« on: November 15, 2016, 02:20 AM »
I've had Haro Group 1 cranks on my 86 Master for ages but always bugged me that the dust caps for the cranks were long gone. Although I did manage to find an Anlun stamped dust cap that helped a little, but just found one :-(

Heard from John Buultjens about 6 months ago that he was trying to get them made out of aluminium as part of the "Genuine Vintage" line. Although he did warn that they wouldn't be exactly like the originals... he was right. :-(

These arrived a few weeks back.

Not bad, and better than nothing :-)

However....

A friend in the USA had also been working on these at the same time, and these arrived in my post box yesterday.

A quick polish and on my cranks.

And with that, that's my 86 Master completed!

Nice one Alan....I lost a cap from a KKT SMX a while ago and it bugged the hell out of me, luckily someone on here sorted one. Love that Master  :daumenhoch:

Nice caps all round. That Anlun cap is crying out to have a batch cast and machined. May know someone
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

Ahh sorry my mistake
Addition of dustcaps to crank probably doesn't constitute a 'major rebuild'  :LolLolLolLol:
