Honest and considered feedback needed
« on: October 12, 2016, 07:18 PM »
I've been working on a design for an oldschool bmx specific pocket tool. Something small but handy for nipping up lose nuts, sockets, spokes etc while out on a ride. It's something along this sort of idea but shaped like a classic gusset or dropout  :daumenhoch:

Question is would anyone consider buying one and what sort of money would you honestly be happy to spend/ have your missus spend on it as a present?

the tools out there range from a £10 to £60

cheers all

Clint  :)
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

The concept is great but you need to have the leverage .   That about all I would take on a ride

Common sizes for a ride are.
Spanners
10mm
14mm
15mm
Allen keys
6mm
5mm

Looking at having all the common sizes so 5,6,8,9,10,14 and fifteen with maybe one or two more or the odd imperial in the mix. Will have a wheel nipple tool, 2 hex drivers foe the most common headset/chaining/brake bolts as well as a few other tools  :daumenhoch:

I'd have one , sounds a great idea .
As Diggler says , around £20 - £25 would be a good price that folk would be happy to pay.

It would be an idea if it attached to the inner triangle of your frame so you didnt have to carry it. :daumenhoch:

Its important for us over 40`s to have empty pockets for when we are back flipping the spine at the local skatepark. :LolLolLolLol:
If in doubt flat out.
