The New HARO Team models for next year
« on: September 22, 2016, 04:56 PM »
Have you all seen them?  then have you seen the ridiculous price tag on them  :2funny: :2funny:

Utter madness for a retro bike in my opinion.

Got to agree Rob .. Crazy money for something repop .. Why would you ..  :crazy2: :idiot2:
Not for me I'm sorry to say .. It's got to be another thing on the list of things I actually hate about OS BMX in 2016 ..
Who's actually going to buy one if these ?

exactly Ant, maybe £600/£700 tops but £1300!!  think of the amazing new school bikes you can buy for half that which will have all pro gear attached to it and ride like a proper bike should.

I bet you can buy a proper Haro for that??

I'm not into the reissue bikes but if i could afford that price I'd want a genuine 80s model

I agree - £800 max. Leave it for a year, and I can see these being half the price

Looking on FB they seem to be very popular.. Several people have ordered one
Each their own I guess but way too much for me ..
Like Rob said you could get a state of the art new school bike for that price  ::)

I really like them  :4_17_5:

..............but I too think they are very expensive and can't see a New Schooler buying them over another bike at half the price  :(

They are expensive, BUT, every part is matched, it's a very, very high quality complete. You couldn't really build one for that price. In my experience they are far in excess of a pretty retro bike, these are cutting edge NS with throwback style..... I love them.

Haha! They ARE state of the art new school bikes!
That's the whole point!
I've seen a current pro rider on a DMC - no reason why someone wouldn't ride one of these if they fancied it.
Personally, I'd go for the yellow team Master F&F in the 19.5 TT length....

I think they look ok & pretty good spec wise, but fook me they're milking that retro teat hard!

Begs the question, if you cam buy them stateside for £915 why would you want to give Alan £1300?
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

very expensive. I was surprised when I looked up the cost of the Buff PK Ripper. Admittedly, it may not have the build quality of the new Haros, but its still £800.

When I was born, the world was a far simpler place.
It was all just cops and robbers.
And BMX.

$600 for the frame & forks, so that's around £460 at todays conversion, plus shipping and customs etc.

Personally, I think they look the nuts and should be more than just a retro rider, but the price is OTT

£500 ish for a newschool custom f&f..... well, i've paid that twice before on my Retrogeese (and so did you nearly Rob!)...... but as a complete for £1300 then no chance 😕

As long as they are proper newschool geometry and Tech then that's what you're going to pay to go newschool in disguise. ..... be much better off buying Wini's Supercross Extension chrome frameset and stickering it up as a Master for £300 cheaper..... 😈

Like this Spen?

So glad I didn't sell it now, I got a renewed love for it once I'd cleaned it up.  :daumenhoch:

There's a somewhat special one (well, two) off of one of these frames currently winging its way slowly to me  :daumenhoch:

They are doing the floval flyer at £800  Last years model at Triton was £335. Only difference I think is the tuff wheels instead of spokes.

I'd seen the Mike Buff ripper, I wasn't aware of the Brian Potter floval.

Fuck me.
Whats the matter Kid, don't ya like clowns? Don't we make you laugh? Aint we fukkin funny?
