Now that all the parts have eventually landed and in the words of Mrs Doyle......ah go on!

1984 GT Pro Performer.

I bought it to use as a rider as the photos in the facebook advert made it look pretty good. It came with seat post, stem and bars; all of which turned out to be copies and the seat post bent. On inspection the rear drops needed straightening and the paint was poor. There was a massive run on the headtube! How can you not see that?

Anyway I took the hit and threw the shit bits in the bin and started again.

You'll notice apart from the seat no GT components as they didn't start producing them until 1985 and no potts mod which was still in its infancy and not yet available as a GT component.

GT PP f&f
GT PP bars
GT seat post
GT seat
Tuf Neck stem and seat clamp
DC 880 set up with Tech IV levers and 84 dated cables
Sugino OPC set up
Izumi chain
Ukai Speedlines
GT tyres
SX pedals
A'me grips

1979/80 Loopy Quadangle. Original chrome and finish on all parts.

Very few of these were made and despite them being stunning to look at they were extremely hard to get the chrome right because of the tight spots, to have one is one thing but have one in such nice condition as this is unbelievable.

FRAME :     SE Racing Looptail Quadangle
FORK   :     Race Inc
RIMS   :     Araya 7B first gen
HUBS  :      Sunshine 2nd gen
Tyres   :     Aggressor MX front Schwinn rear, Dunlop chrome valve innertubes
STEM  :     Cook Bros
BARS  :     SE Powerwings
LEVER :     Team Products
GRIPS :     Oakley .5
CALIPER :  Dia-compe 1020
BLOCKS :  Mathauser
CLAMP   :   PL-!
SADDLE :   Kashimax super pro
CRANK  :   Redline 400
PEDALS :   Bob Reedy
