Skyride Manchester
« on: August 02, 2015, 10:03 AM »
Anybody going today ?

Weather doesn't look great atm , but looks to be improving  :)

I'm going with my lad , starting at Man City stadium at Eastlands into Chinatown and back again .

He'll be on his R4000 and I'll be on my 24 Quad , unless the mrs decides she wants to go and then I've got a couple of hours to sling something together  ::)

It's a nice easy ride with stuff to do at the stadium and also in town .

Apparently you can get a free 'expert' bike check worth £14.99 from Halfords ....... 'expert' ?? Fook that  :LolLolLolLol:

The 'Tricks and Tunes' bit looks good ...... not sure I'll be trying out my own freestyle skills though on the giant airbag

Does look good fun tbh  8)

You look experienced though and I'm wank ...... just don't fancy the bike landing atop of me

If it's not too busy and they can convince me I'll be ok , I might give it a bash ?

Weather stayed dry in the end and had a top day out with the lad  :)

Even gave the airbag a go and glad I did   :daumenhoch:

Unfortunately the battery gave up on my phone , so just missed out capturing my double backflip  ???  :LolLolLolLol:

Just a heads up for this years Manchester Skyride. It's on this weekend , Sunday July 10th , if anyone is interested in going?

Apparently it's going to be the last one , probably down to Sky's sponsorship with BC coming to an end.

I've been on it for the last few years with my lad and we've always had a good day out . Weather permitting , we'll be there again probably around noon 😎
