It was an inspired choice Joff and the fact they were released in 83 made them perfect ... Plus your wheel building skills meant they look off the scale !

Not a fan of Quads but ive seen three lately that are spot on, this is one of them !!! I have some Araya 2 tone on my TA in red. used lol

So after some brilliant R and R in the U.S. Of A ....

The mission continued....

I love the smell of NOS Parts in the morning..

With the build complete I wasn't happy with loose cables at the front and back. In both the U.S. And UK bike reviews they only used the pads to secure the cables not DC or plastic cable ties...
I had to make this as authentic and era correct as possible so I did some research...

I found this advert from late 83 which cleared showed Velcro fastenings being used on their SE Quad

I couldn't find any that were the correct width so I had these made up especially for the build...

And so my brothers I was finally ready to complete the build just in time for MK.

It was time to get on with what Elvis called 'TCB'
