Hi all, Im in the uk and looking for a cruiser
« on: June 02, 2016, 06:20 PM »
Hi everyone,
I am sure I was a member here years ago but couldnt remember the log on so have re joined.
I used to ride bmx as a kid in the 80's and built up a few burners a few years back, an aero pro and a mk1 chromo.
I dont have the cash nowadays (pesky kids) to have any wall hangers so am looking for a cruiser to ride and maybe modify.
At the moment I ride a Cannondale Hooligan, google it! but am not sure if its for me or not.
So, Im 6'2" and probably a bit overweight and am after advice.
I like old school stuff so thought about something made by SE but there doesnt seem to be much out at the moment?
Then I spotted the Fairdale Taj 26" which has a few os features but then thought, why bother with the os stuff, what about a Subrosa Malum 26"?
Now Im looking at the Sunday Model C 24"
Its only for cruising areound with my 2 girls and the mrs on their dutch style lady bikes so also need to be able to raise the seat a bit really.
Any advice you lot?
Cheers,
Rob

Once you realise 24's and 26's are no fun, gimme a shout as there is a boxed 22" wheel newschool Faction Zeitgeist in my brother's stash that needs selling.

Rides like a new school 20" bmx but just everything is scaled up for you at 6'2" with a big 22"tt so loads of room. I also have one and ride it on tracks and occasionally skateparks and it is brilliant at everything, especially tracks.

£160 posted to the uk if you're interested :daumenhoch:
Still limping......
