Tracks in the North East?
« on: May 19, 2016, 11:47 AM »
I live in Peterlee and go to Hartlepool quite a bit but to be honest I find it a bit dull and too rhythmy (this is because I'm rubbish and need lots of run up to a jump and lots of run off for crashing :D ) Are there any/many more up here? I don't mind chucking a bike in the car to get there if it's worth it. For a bit of background I grew up in North Shields and used to go to the track behind Tiverton Avenue and the Powder Monkey when we could be bothered to ride there. Proper old school tracks with sprinty bits and gravel surface- not this new pumpy tarmac nonsense!
