There was a post on Facebook about this a while back. It caused a bit of an uproar from the people who've got original ones.

Why though OG is OG and NRP's are NRP's.  ???

Exactly Dan, have the yellow label repops done any damage to OG? Don't think so

If anything, NRP's are preserving the OG parts for the true show bike collectors.

Seems some people with OG tyres we're worried it would effect the value of them but like you say the yellow label comp 3's don't seem to have done any harm to values and OG Kashimax aeros still command good money. I don't see the problem myself especially with tyres as they are something that will wear out if used.

It will be awesome to see every bike with re-issue Comp II's on, to go with the Elina Lightning bolts and re-issue Haro 1B plates that are already on everyone's bikes  :-X

Mark at Old school BMX store in Oz is the one doing them Rob  ;)  Last i heard was he was waiting for samples before committing to it .

From what i can gather the tyres will carry his branding on the sidewalls .
WANTED : Old school BMX patches/sew on badges ......  please  :)

Is buying the product not enough that you've then got to advertise it for em. No thanks... don't do free advertising. ???

Other than that I'd love a set.  :-\

You have never bought a car then Nick ??  Pay for it , drive it round ...... free advertising !!

Same can be said for most thinks carrying a brand name , old BMX bikes included  ;)

I can't personally see him putting ''old school bmx store'' on the sidewalls ..... but you never know  :D  He has the monopoly on these so theres only him selling them so people will have to go to Mark to buy a set .

Not got an issue with the branding... you buy a brand because you obviously like it. It's the suppliers/dealers/middle men I'm not prepared advertise for. ???

That's what I'm thinking... "old school bmx store" plastered round the skin wall will look shite.  :-\

It's not difficult to get a Taiwanese copy shop to copy them (at least in looks that is)

Indeed, repop and copy knockoff central of the universe.
