Recently finished off this 1978 Champion Squareback.

Frame - 1978 Champion (used)
Forks - 1979 Champion (used)
Rear Wheel - 2.125 Kin Lin with NanKai 75 Coaster Hub (used)
Front Wheel - 2.125 Wanton (used)
Tyres - 2.125 Paragon Stud (Rear), 2.125 Cheng Shin (Front) (new/used)
Bars - 70s Fluted (used)
Stem - Cebe (used)
Grips - OG Clear Hex (NOS)
Seat - Messinger (used)
Seat Clamp - Yamaha Bar Clamps (modified) (used)
Crank - '76 Takagi MX (used)
Chainring - Addicks 44t in black (NOS)
Spider/Bolts - Addicks (NOS)
Pedals - KKT K-MX (used)
Decals - MCS/Wheels N Things/Bell/JT Racing/Champion Fork Decals are all OG. Champion Frame Decals are repro.

Do like these late 70s builds, but so hard to find parts.

Really like the look of the rear tyre, looks great.

Ooooh, I like that.
I particularly like the stem [never heard of or seen these before] & the most inovative, thinking-outside-the-box, seat clamp. If nobody makes a stylish seat clamp that you like, then make one yourself & this is the great result.

I'll be checking out junk late '70's, early '80's small motorcycles myself from now on as I have more than a few early BMX's yet to restore.
I'll be building Quickies till the day I die, ..... & maybe a couple of days after that.
