Dear Pickle,

I've got a barn find Haro freestyler I'm looking to restore, what should I do. On a side note, what's it worth? Where can I sell it? Will I get more if I split it. Actually scrap that I've just found my personal messages inbox and its full. Cheers

Dear Pickle,

All my BMX friends are now constantly on some new fangled invention called 'Facebook' instead of the  :radbmxsmilie: forum.
What should I do?
I am really really scared that they won't like me any more if I don't join them  :'(

Please, please help me Rob Pickle... You are my only hope ::)

Dear Pickle,
my dear friend Andy is already getting stressed out what to wear to the Dog and Duck on Saturday night at MK this year.

Which one of these bad boys would you suggest ?

Dear Pickle

When selling a BMX on eBay, how high should the seatpost be & what is the recommended handlebar position? Do you have any other tips to help secure a speedy sale?

Sincerely

Dear Pickle

I have just managed to purchase a modern day frame in the style of an old Mongoose.

I like taking photo's of it, but just can't seem to get enough pics of it shoe-horned into various mildly related RAD posts....

Please give me guidance, I am at my wits end.... "help"

Dear Pickle

I had the opportunity to purchase a TRM f&f at MK a couple of years back but while i hummed and arghed over what to offer someone snapped it up for 150 quid right under my nose.   :tickedoff:
So do you think this opportunity will arise again or should i still be kicking myself. ???

Yours hopefully

Jono

Dear Pickle, my good friend Ant is indeed correct. I have a few problems that i hope you can help me with.
1. The choices for this year are (in no particular order)

2. The first two have been worn at MK before. Should i consider them, or should i stop living in the past and try new things?

3. Should i try to match my polo shirt and/or footwear with the top of choice, or is this a step too far?

Hoping you can help. I've been unable to sleep with the worry of it all. Andrew (38), Merseyside.

Dear Pickle,
I'm feeling really dirty and ashamed. I just don't want to admit it in front of other people but I've got a really guilty secret that I just can't hide any longer.
I know a man who knows this man who makes these bikes using things called NRPs. I've no idea what that means and I know his bikes don't have NOS or era correct parts like all the rest of us... But my problem is that for some reason I still really really like his builds. I'm so so guilty about this Rob I'm at the end of my tether here.. What the hell am I going to do ?

I keep getting nightmares every time I sleep and when I see this image I always seem to wake up in a pool of cold  yellow liquid.

Yours hopefully,

Mr R.E. Pop Esq.

Dear Rob

I keep getting invited by Ed209 to frequent dirty, sordid locations often in ghetto-like conditions. He insists I try "new things" and becomes increasingly aggressive if I say "no"

So, is riding skateparks in my late 40's something I should be ashamed of, or should I just come out with it on a public forum ???
Still limping......

Dearest Mr P.

There's a few items I've come across whilst spending time reading the threads on this fantabulous site and was wondering if you could give me some explanations....

What is NOS?
What is Knurling?
What is a SST and why should I pay money for it?
How does BOTM voting work and why is it done so everyone can see who voted for what?
What time is the lake ride supposed to start?
Can I arrive at MK Friday night?
What is best... Facebook or the real RAD?
So did Benno win August BOTM?
Why isn't Lisa Riley featured in Babe of the Day?

Thanks for your support, I'm glad there's someone I can turn to in my moment of need and look forward to contacting you again in private with more questions in the future.

Wayne Kerr.

Dear Pickle,

I'm hoping you will be able to guide me with your wisdom. For some time now I've been getting increasingly irate about the amount of bmx companies milking the 'retro' side of bmx, in particular Haro, it seems they have more throwbacks in the range nowadays than new product & seem to be trading on past glories to make money from men of a certain age.
My real problem is recently I have caught myself on many occasions on a bmx shop website, with my mouse pointer hovering over the 'preorder now' button of the retro Haro Lineage Sport frame......So you can see my turmoil, the inner struggle I have to go through every day.
It's tearing me apart, also there's the money side of it. I'm enjoying my new Mazda MX5, the feel of the wind over my balding head is fantastic, but if I buy the Haro frame it will eat into my savings for the deposit on the motorcycle I want to buy, can you help me find peace with myself, I already own two other retro frames, am I suffering from the mid life crisis, do I need urgent medical attention?

I hope your reply is swift, I feel I'm coming apart at the seams.

Yours forever, Danny Fishcharge.
