A'ME UNITRON QUESTION....
« on: March 15, 2016, 09:10 PM »
Has anyone replaced the inserts in A'me Unitron grips? how easy do the two parts come apart? if at all?
I have a pair of old unitrons which I want to replace the inserts on. I have bought a new pair for this purpose...has anyone done anything like this before ? any advice most welcome..

would've thought they're bonded together somewhere along the grip?

I don't think you can. They used to fall apart as kid before they would un bond. Good luck

You are correct Brett, they cannot be separated easily. I had to hack up a new pair to find this out! I can however repair the ends of the old ones so all is not lost (yet!)
